Following In the Footprints of Christ

When was the last time you stopped to think about the type of lifestyle you’re leading before the world system? I don’t know about you my dear friend and blog reader.

But, this is a really pointed question which I’ve had to ask myself time and time again; in order, to truly ensure my walk of faith with the Lord Jesus Christ.

In fact, I’ve found myself living somewhat short of the calling of the Lord God in a area or two of my personal life. Thus, the Biblical saying “for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

You see; whenever, we’re not following, Jesus Christ, in total submission and obedience we don’t look for people to follow us into disobedience. Instead, we depend on those who turly love us in Christ Jesus to correct us an place us back on the right path of His (Christ) righteousness.

Then, it’s after confessing my sins before a loving, caring, redeemer Savior. That, I can be restored to a right relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Then like, Pual the Apostle, I can truly say follow me as I follow Christ Jesus. (See, 1 Corinthians 11:1)

It’s as we learn to follow in the footprints of our wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ. That, we each will learn there’s nothing which can separate us from the divinely given love of God. (See, Romans 8:38, 39)486802_4639145948730_1956069612_n

As we follow those who’re following, Jesus Christ, we’re in fact being daily confromed to the image of His Son. That, He (Jesus Christ) might be the firstborn among many brethren. (See, Romans 8:29, 30)

Love (2 Samuel 13:14-15)

God's love out shines all things in this sphere of life
Never allow others to take the place of God's love. Simply, because He'll always be there for you no matter what you're going through.

127777Amnon was in love with his half sister Tamar. He desperately wanted to have sex with her. So he devised a scheme to seduce her, but when Tamar refused his advances, Amnon raped her. As soon as he did this, his “love” turned to hatred, greater hatred than the passion he had felt when he “loved” her.

It is obvious that the passion Amnon felt was not committed love, but sexual urges, and when they were fulfilled and the desire had subsided, the so-called love was gone. too. Don’t mistake lust for love. Love always involves commitment to the other person’s welfare. Lust is ultimately committed only to satisfying itself, even if that involves violating the object of “love.”

The only true love I know one can really depend on this side of heaven of the love of the Great God of creation has given to us all through the giving of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Now, that’s what you call true amazing grace from above. View today’s video encouragement an may the Lord God Himself continue to richly bless you as you daily seek His divine purpose for your life. God bless. Now, presenting to you brother, Ruben¬† Studdard, singing Amazing Grace. Glory! Amen! Thank You, Jesus.
